Greetings, Red Oak Rotarians!

 

It was so exciting to see five of our members receive their Paul Harris Fellow certificates last week! We've had a total of NINE members receive Paul Harris this year!! In addition, we have exceeded our club's goal for Rotary Foundation giving - YAY!! I'm so proud of our club for making such an effort this year and being very intentional about their donations each week! 

 

I ended the year last year by presenting some fun awards to our club members. I plan to do the same this year, so I hope you make plans to attend the meeting on June 24th. There are, however, four awards that I feel each member should have a say who receives them. Be sure you check the story in this newsletter about award nominations.

 

You'll notice there is also a story about our proposed budget for the upcoming year. We'll be approving this budget at Tuesday's meeting so be sure to take a look at it. Come prepared with your questions.

 

Finally, let's not forget we have Junction Days coming up later this month. We will once again be hosting the Pancake Man, so be sure to sign up to help with setting up and serving that day. Also, we have Duck Race Tickets to sell. We still have about three books to sell, so if you are able to help with that, it would be much appreciated. Please let me know if you need Duck Tickets.
