Have you ever had one of those weeks where the universe seems to be sending you a message? This has been one of those weeks for me, and I got the message. One of our members has been dealing with serious medical issues. One of our members is dealing with a parent on hospice. I had my own medical fright this week. And these are the ones I know about. So here's the message I got: Focus on what is truly important and don't sweat the small stuff. Family, friends, faith - these are irreplaceable; everything else is small stuff.
As we head into the long holiday weekend (for most of us), take time to treasure the important things in your life. Be safe. Have fun. Treat others with kindness - you never know what kind of week they've had. Tell us all about it at our next meeting (Sept. 10).
And, don't sweat the small stuff.
Respectfully,
