Greetings, Red Oak Rotarians!
It seems each year that our club experiences a cycle of activity in terms of member activity. This time of year always seems to coincide with one of the lulls, which is hard because we have a lot going on as a club. As we look ahead to the next few weeks, we as Rotarians need to make every effort to fully support the activities and events we have committed to as a club.
Tuesday, Dec. 10 - Regular meeting
Tuesday, Dec. 17 - 8 a.m. Holiday baskets delivered to public health, business meeting at noon, Christmas party at 5:30 at Stadium 34.
We have also adopted a family for Christmas and need to have those items delivered by Dec. 20th. The list is included in this newsletter. Any items not donated by Dec. 17 will be purchased by the club.
This is a busy time of year for everyone, but it is my hope you are able to participate in some or all of these activities.
Only a few more opportunities to get cards for our Rotary Poker game has started. It's still anyone's game. Attend a meeting to be dealt a card. Bring a guest to be dealt an additional card. The Rotarian with the best poker hand of cards on Dec. 17 will receive a $50 gift card.
Respectfully,
Emily H. Martin
